Amazon is the king of fast delivery – it pioneered the free two-day shipping model customers have come to expect. As competitors like Walmart and Target ramp up delivery speeds to take a piece of the e-commerce pie, Amazon is overhauling its distribution network and investing heavily in its drone delivery program, more automation and electrifying its delivery fleet.

Returning Amazon packages may be an easy process for customers, but sellers are reporting growing problems. The Wall Street Journal reported that vendors are "plagued by a surge in scam returns," where instead of receiving what the customers bought, merchants are getting back junk items. Sebastian Herrera, a tech reporter for the Wall Street Journal, joined CBS News to discuss the issues.
